Welcome to Haiku Inspired By Nature
The Spring of 2020 came with a quarantine from the corona virus. I found refuge sitting on my back deck taking in all the gifts from Mother Nature.
As the days went on, I found myself studying those gifts closer. At the same time a friend invited everyone to join her in a daily haiku.
After thinking about it for several days, I was inspired by the jasmine with the full moon behind it, on the back arbor, looking like black lace.
Maybe a Stevie Nicks moment? That started my journey of simple daily haikus inspired by nature.
